The oil filter traps the grit and fine metal that would otherwise circulate through the engine and accelerate wear. A tired filter and old oil allow those contaminants to pass, so fitting a fresh filter at every oil change is simple, effective protection for a vintage engine. Check the filter style and thread against your original before ordering.

• Traps grit and metal before it circulates
• Fit fresh at every oil change
