The air filter keeps dirt out of the carburetors and engine while still allowing good airflow. A clogged or deteriorated element dulls throttle response and richens the mixture, while a clean filter restores crisp pickup and correct fueling. It is worth checking whenever the bike feels sluggish at higher rpm.

• Protects carbs and engine from grit
• Restores crisp throttle response
